How to do Self Awareness?
How to do Self Awareness?
Ways to practice self awareness
1. Make Time for Stillness
The first step of self-awareness is giving yourself a moment of quiet. Spend a few minutes each morning or before bed in stillness and deep breathing. No need for elaborate rituals—just close your eyes and tune into the present moment. This is the beginning of reconnecting with yourself.
2. Observe Without Judgment
Awareness is not about criticism. You can say to yourself, “I’m feeling anxious right now,” instead of “Why am I anxious again?” Approach your emotions and thoughts with kindness—they are messages from within, but not yourself at the moment.
3. Notice Your Triggers
Life often presents us with moments that stir anger, sadness, or avoidance. Each emotional wave is a doorway inward. When a comment stings or a situation sparks a strong reaction, pause and ask, “What does this remind me of? What am I really afraid of or concerned about?”
4. Write and Listen
Journaling is a powerful tool for self-awareness. Writing out your thoughts gives them form and clarity. You can also sit in silence and listen to your inner voice—often, the real answers don’t come from the mind, but rise from the deeper self.
5. The Body as a Clue
Awareness doesn’t only happen in the mind—your body is your most honest companion. Tension in your stomach, stiffness in your neck, heaviness in your chest—these are ways your inner world communicates. Paying attention to these signals is a deep form of self-awareness.
6. Let Go of Control, Allow Flow
Awareness doesn’t mean “fix everything.” Real awareness is allowing what is to simply be, without rushing to change it. The more you allow emotions and experiences to flow naturally, the more they integrate and release on their own.
Gradually, with repetition—once, twice, three times—as your inner self is seen more clearly, lighter emotional burdens are released through awareness and adjustments in behavior pattern. At the same time, deeper emotional wounds may float toward surface, which lays the groundwork for healing through QHHT past life regression.
Different negative emotions slow down or even halt the energy exchange between cells in certain parts of the body, which is a key cause of chronic illness. Of course, other factors such as lifestyle and diet also play a role, but emotions contribute significantly. Without self-awareness, emotional issues go unseen. Some people are emotionally reactive but don’t recognize their need for awareness or emotional cleansing, including healing from trauma carried across lifetimes.
As the saying goes, a drunk person doesn’t know they are drunk. When we observe ourselves and others through the lens of awareness, we realize this is real.
Self-awareness is a gentle yet profound path.
It’s not a task to complete, but a way of living. As you begin to live with awareness, the world will respond to you differently.
May we, in every ordinary moment, gently practice seeing our true selves and move toward a lighter, freer life.
